BUTLER AND MERCER COUNTIES – Residents of the eighth legislative district in Mercer and Butler counties are invited to attend one of the upcoming Senior Breakfasts hosted by Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler).
The first breakfast will be held on Friday, April 22, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department, located at 313 E. Mercer St., Harrisville. Those interested in attending should RSVP by Thursday, April 7, by calling Bonner’s district office at 724-458-4911.
The second breakfast will be held on Friday, April 29, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Grantham’s Landing, located at 1738 Georgetown Road, Sandy Lake. Those interested in attending should RSVP by Thursday, April 14, by calling Bonner’s district office at 724-458-4911.
Bonner stated, “I am looking forward to personally meeting with constituents from my district to discuss issues important to them and to our Commonwealth. Listening to the concerns of our citizens and finding answers to their questions are a significant part of the job duties of an elected official.”
Attendees can expect an update on issues at the state government level that impact them, along with information on several programs and services available. Specific topics that will be discussed include estate planning, inheritance tax, property tax/rent rebate program and discount vehicle registration for retired individuals.
