Bonner, Brooks Secure State Grant for Multi-Purpose Facility in the Grove City Area

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) and Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) announced today that Balmaghie Beverage Group will receive $2.5 million in funding from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) to be used to construct a new multi-building production and retail complex in the Grove City Area, Mercer County. Private investments in the project will be near $10 million.

Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) today announced his legislation that would require Contract Health Care Service Agencies that provide temporary nursing workers in nursing homes, assisted living residences and personal care homes to register with the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) as a condition of their operations in the Commonwealth was signed into law by Gov. Tom Wolf.

PITTSBURGH – Reps. Jim Gregory (R-Blair) and Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) today called for an audit and Independent Fiscal Office review of the rental payments being made by the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies under an agreement linked to state funding. Additionally, they urged that information be collected about the credits used by the teams to reduce or eliminate their rental payments.
