Meet Tim

As a state representative, Rep. Tim Bonner is fully prepared for the challenge to represent residents’ interests on the floor of the State House, just as he has represented our interests in the courtrooms of Pennsylvania; the halls of state, county and local government; and the board rooms of hospitals, corporations and charitable institutions. He is committed to fighting for a balanced budget, supporting policies that generate and protect family-sustaining jobs, protecting our rights of the Second Amendment and fighting for the rights of the unborn.

During his legal career, Tim served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Mercer County as a prosecutor for 18 years. As a lead homicide prosecutor, he never lost a homicide case and had the highest overall conviction rate in the office, over 99%, prosecuting the most serious crimes such as rape, robbery, drug dealing, arson, kidnapping, assault and child abuse cases. Tim also served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearing Committee overseeing and deciding cases involving allegations of attorney misconduct.
